Happy New Year! Big News!

Happy New Year Everyone! The end of 2018 was quite the emotional roller coaster for Batman. He lost his best friend David who passed away peacefully in his sleep. It was an honor for Batman4Paws to be one of the Charities listed on his friends memorial program. The outpouring of support from the Sullivan Family and Friends has been truly heart warming. In wanting to memorialize his childhood friend in some way Batman has vowed to name Batman4Paws first adoptable rescue David after his best friend, so keep your eyes peeled for when that happens! So far 2019 has brought many exciting opportunities. The first news I would like to share with you all is that Batman4Paws has been selected to be GoFundMe’s April Hero of the Month! Batman will also be doing a podcast to talk about his efforts to help empty all the cages and give you tips on how you can help too. In addition to this news Batman has his second official rescue lined up for February 3rd. He will be helping a 2 year old Shih-tzu pup named Ollie, who was a former Amish Puppy mill dog, get from New York all the way down here to sunny florida where his StoryTellers Express Rescue Foster home will be waiting for him. If you fancy Ollie click the StoryTellers link above to find out how to adopt him! Batman himself may just drop him off at your door ;). The last bit of news I would like to share with you all is about Batman’s trusty side kick Robin. He has his first day of Therapy dog Training this Saturday January 19th and will be finished with the program near the end of February. Once Robins Therapy credentials are received both Batman and Robin will be making regular trips to the Florida Hospital Children’s wing to bring about as many smiles as we can. The first couple weeks of 2019 have shaped up to be quite eventful. Stay tuned for more updates as they roll in. Batman Signing off.
